RESIDENCE at Dionysos. The residence is located in Dionysos, a woody suburb of Athens .Design concept was the visual invasion of the forest in building’s interior. A straight axis visually links swimming pool and forest in front, with the woody and sloppy landscape at the rear.The forest-like character of the site maintained, minimizing changes of landform and planting. Native plants (Arbutus, Pistacia ) added to strengthen the image. Ramps and paths constructed by simple site materials ( stone, wood ) .Very important is the outdoor lighting, selectively illuminating the natural landscape.
