GREEN RESIDENCE, Dionysos. The residence is located in Dionysos, a woody suburb of Athens .Design concept is the visual invasion of the forest in building’s A straight axis visually links swimming pool and forest in front, with the woody and sloppy at the rear. This axis improves the natural ventilation and air movement. Orientation to South large openings and solar heat penetration. The heat gained is stored in the stone pavers floor. Shading devices protect the interior from overheating in summer. The forest-like character of the site maintained, minimizing changes of landform and Native plants (Arbutus , Pistacia ) added to strength the image. Ramps and paths are made by simple site materials (stone , wood).
