Santa Monica ocean park and urban development, California. The meeting point of city and Pacific ocean is redesigned, to upgrade the existing urban structure. A powerful axis is formed to link Santa Monica City Hall with S. Monica pier, extending to the water. Artistic, recreational and commercial activities are formed along the axis, as well a new aquatic museum, and an open-air theater. The wasteland is transformed into an oceanside park, with California native plants, providing walks and views to the ocean.
