GREEN RESIDENCE, Kifisia. The integrated design of building and garden formed an interplay of interior – exterior. Through the large openings, nature is invited inside,  providing pleasant vistas. This is very important for small lots in dense areas were isolation from surrounds has to be balanced by introducing focal points within the site. A straight axis visually links the parts of the interior. An atrium contributes to natural ventilation and cooling at summer. Orientation to South permits large openings and solar heat penetration. The heat gained is stored in the stone pavers floor. Shading devices protect the interior from overheating at summer .Recyclable materials such as steel, aluminum are used in the construction.
