VACATION HOUSES IN ERMIONI. Connecting the two residences with nature, plants will be selected by their ability to adjust and grow to the local seaside conditions. In order to recover the natural landscape and preserve the sensitive balance of the ecosystem, large areas will be planted by native species. The concept is to create a landscape where human interference will be discreet and unnoticed. Groups of drought-tolerant shrubs will form green screens, giving shelter from sea winds. Adjacent to the building structures, more organized gardens will be designed as an intermediate link of architecture to the formless natural landscape.
