WIND plaza. The exterior of this three office building complex is designed as a pleasant  ” invasion of nature”.    Pathways, planting, water features, and landforms create attractive outdoor ” rooms “, used by workers and residents of the area. Strong winds, air pollution, shallow soil over the structure, were of major concern. Most of the planting was grown in the form of green roofing on the roof of the underground garage. The main problems to be solved were strong winds, atmospheric pollution, and limited soil depth. A selection of Greek native plants tolerant to site conditions gave a special Mediterranean look to the gardens.  The project became a guide to similar corporate parks, providing pleasant and top quality working environment.
